We checked for one food item each in the canteens of 10 Delhi University colleges that students just can’t resist. Here’re the findings.
Lady Shri Ram College
Seekh Kabab Rumali
is the hot favourite here. Prepared with an
atta roti
, four big mutton pieces and lots of mint chutney, — girls cannot resist this particular dish in their college café.
Gargi College
It is the rich chocolate shake that the students at Gargi College prefer the most. Made with milk, chocolate powder and lots of ice cubes it remains a hit throughout the year.
Sri Venkateswara
As its South Indian origin suggests,
masala dosa
at Rs 15 is the best deal in the Venky canteen. You can even have a refill for your
sambhar
.
St Stephen’s College
Egg preparations are a hit here and cheese omelette tops the list. It is served with two bread pieces and never ever is there a compromise on the amount of cheese.

Daulat Ram College
Vegetable chowmien tops the chart. Even though the canteen doesn’t have a non-veg. option, it remains a hot favourite.

Chocolate frappe with grilled sandwich is a hot favourite among students, especially during summers.
IP College

Maggi at Rs 15, can’t beat any other meal in the canteen.
Ramjas College
Rajma chawal
remains the simplest and the best dish served. It is high on both quality and quantity.
Kirori Mal College

filings is the all time favourite snack. There are even

rolls served with noodle filings.
