Model-turned-actor Arjun Rampal, who won the best supporting actor at the 54th Idea Filmfare Awards, has apologised to Amitabh Bachchan for not mentioning his name in his winning speech, the megastar says on his blog.
"Later in the night (after the ceremony) he (Arjun) sends me a SMS saying how grateful he was to have me as an inspiration in his life and how sorry he was that he could not name me in his speech because he was overwhelmed by the moment? I am deeply touched," Amitabh posted on his blog www.bigb.bigadda.com Monday morning from his Prateeksha residence.
Arjun bagged the black lady Saturday for his performance as an out-of-work musician in Abhishek Kapoor's "Rock On!!" and forgot to thank Amitabh for being an "inspiration" in his life on the stage.
"He has really roughed it out in the industry and laboured hard. I advise him never ever to forget the moment that brought on that emotion - that shall and should be his motivation for the rest of his career, I SMSed back," wrote Big B.
