If you thought glowing undergarments and dissolving bikinis belonged only in erotic dreams — here’s news for you. Both these bizarre items of clothing are not only available — they’re fast becoming style statements.

Glowing undergarments have caught the fancy of Delhi’s women. Lumino Glow, a brand that makes glowing lingerie, uses European stretch lace that glows in the dark. Costing Rs 2,000 to Rs 4,000, these have a growing demand. “It’s a nice way to attract your boyfriend,” says Tanu Trivedi, who recently bought a pair of these.
Smriti Gupta, owner of Kunchals, GK I, that stocks lingerie says, “We have Swarovski lingerie by Triumph — it’s not a neon glow but a crystal glow.” This particular bra costs Rs 14,000 and a panty Rs 4,000 and has several takers.
Though dissolvable bikinis have yet to hit the stores in town, city boys are ordering them online to take revenge on unsuspecting ex-es. German website, www.racheshop.de offers a bikini that dissolves three minutes after hitting the water — and it costs only Rs 650 approximately. This bikini comes packed in a nice gift box designed to fool you into believing it’s real.
