Anwar, who lately took to practicing Islam seriously and has just returned from Saudi Arabia after performing Haj, is a regular visitor to the Pakistan dressing room where he delivers sermons to the players and encourages them to practice Islam.

Saeed was reportedly stopped at the side entrance in the main pavilion building leading to the Pakistan dressing room as he didn’t have the required visitor’s card with him, reported The News.

At one stage some pushing also took place, but after the intervention by media persons and PR managers present on the occasion, Anwar was asked to wait on one side while someone approached the dressing room for the required entry pass for the veteran cricketer.

According to the paper, on learning about the incident, Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq expressed his unhappiness at the treatment meted out to Anwar.
