, a film based on the infamous MMS scandals, gets set to hit the screens this week. The Censor Board convened a screening of the movie, directed by Dibakar Banerjee, last evening, to decide whether the seven-and-a-half-minute lovemaking sequence stays.

“The long scene, which leads to sex between the two protagonists, is integral to the film. There is much more thought behind it than just the sex,” says Banerjee.

Producer, Ekta Kapoor says even she got shocked when she first saw the scene. She added, “Sex is no longer just for pleasure. It’s used to get popular, or to get back at a girl who rejected you. That’s what

portrays.”

Vinayak Azad, a Censor Board member said they will take a decision only after watching the film. “Calling it the boldest scene could be a publicity gimmick. They can’t show it without getting it certified,” he said.
