Sachin Tendulkar is very particular about the sightscreen. Even the slightest distraction upsets him. He had a tough time at Lord's but to avoid controversy, he didn't file an official complaint. The arms of the tall England bowlers were going well above the Nursery End screen at the time of delivery, and, at the pavilion end, it was translucent.

However, he is unlikely to face this problem at any of the other venues. In a nutshell, Tendulkar may have failed to make a mark at Lord's, but he is expected to play a big role in the remaining three games. The Trent Bridge wicket may be pacer-friendly, but the India batsman loves to bat here. Of all the venues, both in India and England, he has scored the maximum runs against England here — 469 in three Tests at an average of 78.17, the sequence reading 177 & 74 (1996), 34 & 92 (2002), 91 & 1 (2007).

He missed two almost certain centuries in the last two Tests at this beautiful venue, getting out in the 90s, but it's a good bet that he could get to the most talked about landmark of 100 international centuries here.
