Winter back in cold mood

AFTER A summery mood, winter breezed back chilly cold, knocking day mercury down by 7 degree Celsius. On Tuesday, the day temperature was six degree above normal; on Wednesday it was one degree below normal.

On Tuesday, the day temperature was six degree above normal; on Wednesday it was one degree below normal. Weatherman on Monday had attributed the unusual heat that we had witnessed last week to the anti-cyclonic circulation and had stated that now that the anti-cyclonic circulation was getting feeble, the nip in air will return, and it will return with greater intensity. And this is what has started happening now.

“There may not be fog immediately, the coldness will rise. Day temperature may hover around 22 degree, but there will still be some fall in the night temperature,” said the weatherman.
