Wipro selects 59 LNCT students

AS MANY as 59 students of 2007 batch of the Lakshmi Narain College of Technology (LNCT) were selected by the global software company M/s Wipro Technologies, Bangalore, during a campus selection process held on Thursday. A team of 10 officials from Wipro, headed by Aditi Richaria, conducted the selection process, in which 260 students from the college participated.

AS MANY as 59 students of 2007 batch of the Lakshmi Narain College of Technology (LNCT) were selected by the global software company M/s Wipro Technologies, Bangalore, during a campus selection process held on Thursday.
A team of 10 officials from Wipro, headed by Aditi Richaria, conducted the selection process, in which 260 students from the college participated.

LNCT is the only institute besides MANIT where Wipro has conducted campus selection. Director (HRD) and Chairman (Placements) of LNCT, J P Khare said that it is an encouraging trend that leading companies have started visiting city institutes for campus selection.

However, he lamented that many local students who are academically intelligent often lack good communication skills. This still remains a hindrance towards their getting selected in world-class companies. He emphasized that this drawback needs immediate attention.
