The sanitary staff of Municipal Corporation of Faridabad (MCF) will now carry wireless sets to keep watch on over 2,500 safai-karamcharis in the three zones of Faridabad - Old Faridabad, Ballabhgarh and New Industrial Township (NIT).

"We have given wireless instruments to 14 sanitary officials. More such sets will be given to other sanitary officials," said Dr Brijesh Khari, health officer, MCF. D Suresh, commissioner, MCF said, "We felt the need for effective monitoring of our manpower involved in the city's cleanliness (hence the sets)."
