It has come to notice that fraudsters in alleged connivance with Noida authority staff are selling properties that don't belong to them.

One such incident was detected recently and the Noida Police on Wednesday arrested a woman who had allegedly sold the plot posing as the original allottee. The police were in search of other gang members as they said the woman alone could not have managed such a fraud.

Noida Authority had allotted 450 square metre B-16 in Sector 93 to Kanpur resident Ambar Kamal, who sold it further to senior IPS officer V.S. Singh.

Singh went to the site to see his property when he came to know that a property dealer named Veer Singh had purchased the property whereas Singh was the real owner.

During interrogation Veer Singh told the police that Ambar Kamal, Aas Mohammad, Dinesh Kumar, Sushil Kumar, Rinku and R.D. Sharma had sold the plot to him.

“She posed as Ambar and executed the sale deed in favour of the property dealer,” the SHO added.
