Woman held with brown sugar

A WOMAN was arrested for allegedly carrying brown sugar in Nishatpura area on Thursday. The accused, Suman, wife of Chhagan Lal, a resident of Kumhar Mohalla, Maqsudangarh, was arrested after she got down from the bus at Karod.

The police had got information that she was carrying the narcotic. However, the police could recover barely 5 gram brown sugar from her. She has been booked under the NDPS Act and is being interrogated.
