Woman shot dead by looters in Meerut
A woman was shot dead on the the Delhi-Roorkee National Highway in Meerut allegedly by a gang of armed looters, police said on Monday.

A woman was shot dead on the the Delhi-Roorkee National Highway in Meerut allegedly by a gang of armed looters, police said on Monday.
The woman, identified as Mausam, was travelling back from her mother's house at Mandora village in Meerut to Faridabad along with her husband, when the three robbers allegedly shot at her on Sunday night, DIG Jai Narayan Singh said.
Police is further investigating the matter, he said, adding that the robbers probably killed her because she had identified them.
