Women's hockey team to play two four-nation tourneys

Surinder Kaur will lead an 18-member Indian women's hockey team in two four-nation tournaments in The Netherlands and Germany as part of the side's preparations for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

The team will leave first for Rotterdam in The Netherlands, where it will play against Great Britain, South Africa and the hosts from June 23 to 28 June.

It will then travel to Bremen, Germany for a tourney against Korea, South Africa and the hosts from July 3 to 6, the Indian Women's Hockey Federation said in a statement.

The team:

Surinder Kaur (c), Savita, Marita Tirkey, Binita Toppo, Eti Shrivastava, Rajwinder Kaur, Subhadra Pradhan, Rijuta Mullick, Th Ranjita, Th Chanchan Devi, Rosalind Ralte, Manorama Devi, Vartika Singh, Ritu Rani, Poonam Rani, Rani, S Ranjita Devi, Pushpa Pradhan.
