The two women who came to India from Nepal with hopes of earning a good salary but ended with shattered dreams say they will never venture out their country again in search of work.
The Nepalese embassy will issue temporary passports to the victims soon to send them back to Nepal as the original passports are still with the Saudi Arabian diplomat. They were rescued but they did not collect their belongings, said Balkrishan Pandey, conveyor of Maiti India NGO.
Both victims were held hostage and allegedly sexually abused almost every day for the last four months.
“I was excited when I left home and promised my family members that I will send money every month and we will soon build a new house and start our own shop. No one else would need to move out of Nepal for work,” said one of the women.
The women were happy and considered themselves lucky when they reached Saudi Arabia. The two asked their employer for their salary in advance for shopping but were refused. Their employer told them they would be paid only after they have completed three months.
“We were upset that we were returning to India and we might not get the same salary as we were promised for Saudi Arabia. But the employer promised us that the salary would remain the same in India too,” said the victims.

{{/usCountry}}When the women reached India, they were taken to the fifth floor of Caitriona Apartment, Ambience Island in Gurgaon.
The victims were given the task of cleaning the house, cooking, washing clothes and dusting.
“We used to get up early in the morning and sleep late after 1am most of the days. Despite being unwell, there was no mercy for us and we were forced to work, massage and were later raped. They did not understand our language and we didn’t understand theirs,” said victim.
The men who used to visit the apartment were also from the same country as their language and accent were same. “They used to visit the employer, had drinks and rape us till late. Many times, the guests also demanded massages and used to give us tips, which were taken by the wife of the employer,” said the victims.
