An egg a day may prevent macular degeneration and prevent cataract.

Egg is the only food that has a naturally occurring vitamin D, which helps to promote strong, healthy bones, nails, hair and teeth.

Regular intake of two eggs per day may improve a person’s lipid profile.

Eggs are a good source of omega 3, which may prevent blood from clotting, increase good cholesterol, decrease bad cholesterol, decrease triglycerides, and lower high blood pressure.

They may prevent breast cancer. As per a study, women who have at least, 6 eggs per week lowered their risk of breast cancer by 44 per cent.
