Woo Muslim voters: BJP leaders

To mobilise support of the Muslim community for the upcoming rally of its party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, the Delhi BJP held a meeting on Thursday.

To mobilise support of the Muslim community for the upcoming rally of its party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, the Delhi BJP held a meeting on Thursday.

Sources said party workers have been asked to get in touch with the community members and ensure they extend their support to the rally.

“We have asked the workers to start publicising the rally amongst Muslims and distribute pamphlets giving information about the rally outside mosques,” said a senior BJP leader.

A similar function was held in east Delhi wherein the BJP workers had organised a programme in Muslim-dominated areas.
