Dutt was already a household name but Nagma was still very much a southern star trying to find her foothold in Bollywood. The kiss in 'Yaaalgar' ensured overnight notoriety. Filmmakers noticed the voluptuous beauty almost immediately, even though her charms failed to rescue the film from a box-office drubbing.
