Director of Jeevan Jyoti Hospital Dr AK Bansal, threw light on the benefits of meditation and yoga. He said one should do yoga regularly in order to maintain balance between stress and health. Health had direct relation with work. If one was healthy, one would perform properly, said Dr Bansal.

Ayurvedacharya Dr SK Rai emphasised on synchronisation between Aahar, Nidra and disciplined life. He said usually a policeman had to work round the clock without proper sleep and food. Besides, they carried a lot of stress due to pressure from their officers and public.

He advised the cops not to skip the afternoon meal. One should, however, not indulge in frequent snacking, he said adding that proper diet, sleep and regular exercise would do wonders.

He advised the participants to exhale and inhale breath properly and said one should laugh every day for at least 45 minutes. Nearly 100 cops, including station officers and sub-inspectors, attended the camp. They also underwent free medical check-up.
