Adityanath said communists were never true patriots, adding that they divided society and were against Hindu culture, and its spiritual and traditional glory.
Praising Ramdev for his role in promoting Ayurvedic system of medicines, he said since the yoga guru was against foreign companies, there was a deep-rooted conspiracy to defame his method of treatment.

He warned Hindu organisations could strongly react to Karat’s remarks against Ramdev if she did not apologise.

He said communists loved criticising everything that was an integral part of Hindu culture. He blamed the Communist Party for promoting Naxalite, Maoist and PWG activists in India.

He said that till March 2000, 55 districts of the country were affected by Naxalite movements, but by December 2004, the number of such districts had gone up to 230.

He also denounced the silence maintained by both the Congress and the Leftist parties over incidents of Naxal violence, conversion being carried out by missionaries and strikes by Islamic terrorists.

He said all this gave rise to the doubt that communists had
an understanding with these forces.

Adityanath said Hindu activists would not tolerate any attempt by communist leaders to sully the image of Ramdev.

He further said that the recent attack by Karat had generated resentment among every Indian who had faith in the Ayurvedic system.
