WITHOUT NAMING the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, chief priest of Maa Pateshwari Shaktipeeth in Balrampur district Kaushlendra Nath Yogi lashed out on Tuesday at the ‘so-called secular forces’ for favouring a particular community through the policy of appeasement.

“As part of the appeasement policy of the so-called secular governments, the members of a particular community are getting special packages for their pilgrimage but the Hindus are not getting any facilities to tour prominent pilgrimage centres like the temple of Goddess Hinglaj in Pakistan”, he said.
Talking to mediapersons here today, Yogi said that Hindu organisations should come together on one platform to protect Hindutva.
Kaushlendra, who represents the Hindu Yuva Vahini of Mahant Yogi Adityanath, said class system, caste system and untouchability had weakened the Hindu community. The Hindu Yuva Vahini would make efforts to build an effective and forceful Hindu community, he said and added that the Vahini was working in 30 districts of the state and would expand itself to other districts of the state soon.
He said that a grand ‘Hindu Sangam’ would be organised in Varanasi in April in which Mahant Yogi Adityanath would address a public meeting. All the outfits of the Hindu community would participate in the Hindu Sangam.

Yogi strongly criticised renowned painter Maqbool Fida Hussain for painting Hindu deities in an indecent way, saying that such paintings had hurt the sentiments of the Hindus.
