I'd like to express my American countrymen's friendship for the Indian people. Our citizenry are firmly in support of the largest democracy in the world; regardless of the media opinion we may have an animus towards each other.
I'm not sure why our government never had a cordial and productive relationship with your great country in the past. I can only blame it on our stupid politicians who only worry about being re-elected instead of cultivating strong and heart-felt appreciation for our Indian friends.
As far as I'm concerned, Indian deserves a permanent seat on the UN Security Council. India is rapidly becoming a superpower and needs to be treated so.
I just wish you could meet American people one-on-one and see that we sincerely wish the best for you and the opportunity to get to know the Indian people better.
