Excerpts:

With no training facility for the last one year, how did you prepare for the mega event?
I was removed from SAI centre due to some confusion amongst the trainees. But I trained at a bodybuilding centre. I could have left the game in 2009, but then decided to give a befitting reply to all my critics. So I kept pushing hard.

Are you following any specific training programme for CWG?
I am concentrating hard on technique. I am also doing light training for three hours everyday.

Who according to you can give you strong competition during the Games?
After finishing my training, I spend one hour everyday watching other lifters practise. I think lifters from Australia, Nigeria, Canada and South Africa are strong. Even though I am confident of a podium finish here.
