ZC suspends itself from Tests till '07

The decision was reached by Zimbabwe interim cricket board after considering the team's recent performances.

Zimbabwe's interim cricket board has suspended the country's Test status until 2007, the domestic governing body said on Wednesday.

"The decision to suspend (Zimbabwe's) participation in Test matches was reached by ZC after consideration of the recent performances by the national and A teams," Zimbabwe Cricket said in a statement.

The decision was taken at the first meeting of the interim board in Harare on Wednesday.
