BSF chief in state, reviews security on Indo-Pak border

ADG, Western Command, KN Choubey and IG, Rajasthan Frontier, Anil Paliwal accompanied Sharma on the occasion.

Border Security Force director general (DG) KK Sharma arrived at the frontier headquarter in Jodhpur on a four-day official visit on Saturday.

ADG, Western Command, KN Choubey and IG, Rajasthan Frontier, Anil Paliwal accompanied Sharma on the occasion.

Sharma reviewed the operational preparedness of border management with BSF officials on Sunday.

Earlier, the DG inspected the Indo-Pak border in Jaisalmer sector for two days.

On his arrival in Jodhpur, the DG was welcomed by DIG Ravi Gandhi and DIG KS Rajawat and other officers of the Rajasthan Frontier. Sharma discussed about the current security scenario on the international border in details with the officers.

He also visited Ayurvedic Garden situated on the headquarter campus and planted a tree.

Later, Sharma met the BSF jawans at STC BSF Jodhpur. He congratulated them for performing their duties and boosted their morale. He inspected security arrangement and emphasised on adopting modern technology for better border management.

He also mentioned ongoing welfare measures for the BSF personnel. He advised them to practice yoga regularly for good health. In the end, he asked about their problems and directed the concerned officers to sort out them. He also took refreshment with the jawans.
