Former Vice-President's condition stable

The condition of former Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, admitted to a hospital after complaining of uneasiness and breathing trouble, is stable, doctors treating him said in Jaipur today.

The condition of former Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, admitted to a hospital after complaining of uneasiness and breathing trouble, is stable, doctors treating him said in Jaipur today.

"His condition is stable. He is responding to the treatment and all his parameters are normal, Dr Ashok Pangaria, principal, Swai Man Singh Hospital, said.

87-year-old Shekhawat was admitted to the ICU of the SMS hospital on May 13 and doctors had said the former Vice-President was suffering from lung and chest infection.

Dr Narpat Singh, Superintendent of the hospital said, "We are keeping a close watch on his condition".

A large number of people including Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and former Chief Minister Vasundara Raje enquired about his health by calling his relatives.
