It was a long-distance relationship that blossomed over Facebook chats. A girl from Nagpur fell in love with a boy of Nohar in Hanumangarh district. They decided to get married.
But, when the girl travelled more than 1,500 km to meet the boy, it turned out that the boy was a minor. When the love story ended, the girl agreed to accept the boy as her brother.
According to police, on Saturday, residents of Nanda Colony in Nohar informed them about a girl threatening to commit suicide in front of a house. When cops rushed to her and brought her to the police station, she told them that she had travelled from Nagpur, through Jaipur, Ajmer and Nagaur, for four days to marry Mahesh (not his real name).
However, the boy's family didn't allow her to meet him and left with no choice, she wanted to end her life in front of his house.
Police said her parents in Nagpur were informed and when they came to Nohar on Sunday, the boy's family was also called in.

{{/usCountry}}It was then that the girl, 28, realized that the boy was a minor, 17 years, and it was not possible for his family to marry them.
The two had met on Facebook and chatted for a year before the girl decided to travel down.
Elders and cops advised the girl to accept the boy as her brother — and thus ended the 'minor' love story.
