Police have detained a terror suspect allegedly having links with Harkat-ul-Jehad-e-Islami militant group, a senior official said on Thursday.
Abdul Hafiz Shameem was brought to Jaipur from Khandela village in Sikar district for questioning on Wednesday night.

Shameem stayed as an imam in the village mosque along with his family until now, the official said.
The official said although it was premature to link Shameem with any terror incident, he is being interrogated thoroughly and his involvement with other terror groups is also being ascertained.
The official said after interrogation, he may be sent back to his village.
