Fever keeps Buddhadeb from internal security meet

The chief minister was down with fever for the last few days and was still very weak, said an official in his secretariat.

Despite his ill-health, Bhattacharjee had toured West Midnapore district last week.

On Sunday, he had skipped the memorial meeting for Subhas Chakraborty, the senior leader of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and minister, who died August 3.
