A man was stabbed to death in a bus near Usti in South 24 Pargana district on Wednesday, police said.

Two persons suddenly attacked Feroze Siddique (40) with a chopper inside the bus killing him on the spot.

Siddique was going to his workplace. He was a clerk in a local school.

The other passengers overpowered the attackers and handed them over to the police.

Land dispute was suspected to be the motive behind the killing, the police said.
