On Wednesday, 10 notices were issued to various establishments where health teams found conditions conducive for mosquito breeding. Doctors said there were chances of spread of dengue due to intervals in rains hence people should take precaution against mosquito bites.

“Mosquito breeding should not be allowed anywhere – neither in homes nor in the neighbourhood, as the coming weeks are crucial. People need to take precaution till at least November,” said Dr Sandeep Kapoor, director, Healthcity Trauma Centre and Superspeciality Hospital.

So far, over a dozen doctors from KGMU and other medical institutes and over two dozen children have tested positive for swine flu.
