Two big gold heists took place in Lucknow in two days. The robbers decamped with gold worth over Rs 6 crore.
On Thursday, six English-speaking armed men robbed gold worth Rs 5 crore from Muthoot Finance company in Alambagh, holding eight staff members captive.

The heist at the Muthoot Finance office - barely 300m from the Alambagh police station - began immediately after it opened at 8.30am.
The armed and masked men barged into the office and locked the staff including branch manager AS Tiwari in the bathroom. The men collected ornaments from six drawers. On their way out, they also took away the video recorder system of CCTVs.
