A police constable, who had allegedly passed a lewd remark at a young girl, has been suspended by authorities.

Constable Mohammad Abbas had in an inebriated state passed some lewd remarks at the girl at a busy shopping complex after which he was thrashed by the girl and a crowd which had gathered there, official sources said.
