The principal secretary directed the acting VC to strengthen the public redressal system and hold janata adalat to solve petty issues pending with the LDA for years. He said this exercise would improve the image of the department. He said people were afraid of coming to LDA as they felt they would be entering a quagmire where everyone would be after their money. Sadakant also directed officials to hold a naksha adalat (hearing for maps ) to solve cases related with maps.

The principal secretary was not satisfied with the progress in Janeshwar Mishra park , Jai Prakash Narain International Convention Centre and riverfront development project. He also questioned the utility of the department if it was not able to introduce any housing project for years. He directed the LDA officials to bring atleast one housing project every year as people still believed in projects of government agencies. He said to acquire land in the city, farmers should be made shareholders in the projects, so that they agree to give up their land for housing projects.

Secretary housing, Rajeev Agarwal, was also present during the visit of Sadakant.
