Former telecom minister A Raja's fate hangs in balance as a Delhi Court on Friday reserved its order on his maiden bail plea in the 2G spectrum scam case for May 15.
Having spent 15 months in jail, Raja, a DMK MP, has sought bail on the ground of parity as all the other accused in the case are already out of jail.

He also wanted bail to assist his counsel during the trial.
The CBI opposed Raja’s plea, saying the agency was probing a fresh allegation that he got R200 crore as bribe.
Raja’s ground of parity could not stand as his responsibility as a minister was much more than all the other accused, the CBI said.
“I am strongly opposing the bail plea,” CBI prosecutor AK Singh told special CBI judge OP Saini.
