Samajwadi Party MLA arrested in UP for murder

Police said Singh is wanted in connection with the killing of one Sant Gyaneshwar in Handia in Allahabad last year.

Controversial Samajwadi Party MLA Chandrabhadra Singh alias Sonu Singh was arrested on Sunday in connection with a murder case.

Police sources said Singh was wanted in connection with the killing of one Sant Gyaneshwar in Handia in Allahabad last year.

Singh, who represents Isauli in Sultanpur district, was arrested from the MLA's hostel.
