A teacher of a private school was arrested for allegedly thrashing a student of class I for not completing his homework, police said in Lucknow.
Nikhil, a student of National Public School in Ram Vihar colony at Rajajipuram, sustained injuries when he slumped on the ground after being hit by Neelam yesterday, they said.

Nikhil's father Ram Baran Varma lodged a complaint against the teacher on the basis of which Neelam was arrested, they said.
