Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), manning Indo-Nepal border, detained three Kashmiri militants on Wednesday, on their way to Kashmir to surrender.
The militant were entering into India through Rupaihadeeh check post in Bahraich.
According to information, they had come from Pakistan to Kathmandu and had reached Nepalganj to enter India. During interrogation, they told the security and intelligence agencies that they were forcibly taken to Pakistan on gunpoint and were given terrorist training.However, they escaped from the terror camp and took flight to Nepal.

The three detained militants habe been identified as Mohd Shafiwar, son of Siddiwar of Barapura (Baramullah), Manzoor Ahmad Jargar, son of Abdul Fateh Jargar of Chak Mirza (Baramullah) and Mohd Akbar Lone, son of Khazar Mohd Lone of Kalalkone (Kupwara).
While accepting that they had undergone training at JKLF and Hizbul Mujahideen camps, Manzoor Ahmad said that tired of such life they wanted to go back home and live peacefully. As entry from Kashmir was dangerous, they opted for route through Nepal, he said.
A senior SSB officer informed that the senior officers in J&K and Terrorists Rehabilitation Centre at Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi were contacted and they said that all the three had sent applications to surrender and they should be allowed to enter the country. SSB officer said that as per their directives the detained militants would be sent to the Delhi camp.
