"The total project cost is less than the scam projected", said Meena on Thursday. From 2007 to 2012, Rs. 2,142 crore was released by the central government and the state government while Rs. 2,016 crore has been spent so far.

"Our records say that under the BPL toilets we have made 78 lakh toilets and it is only for BPL toilets under the campaign that government money is given," said Meena.
