Fired employee from Mumbai’s architecture firm sends abusive emails to boss’ wife, arrested

According to police, the victim said that when she was checking her emails in June last year, she noticed three emails, which were sent by Kumar in May.

A 29-year-old former executive of a Nariman Pointbased architecture firm was arrested for allegedly sending vulgar and abusive emails to his boss’ wife after he was fired from the firm.

Abhishekh Vijay Kumar, a resident of Jogeshwari was arrested after the Napeansea road resident, 49, an architect by profession registered a complaint. She works at her husband’s firm as a consultant.

According to police, she said that when she was checking her emails in June last year, she noticed three emails, which were sent by Kumar in May.

“The emails were vulgar and abusive. In one email, he had even threatened the woman,” an officer from Malabar Hill police station said. An FIR was registered under relevant sections of the IPC and the IT Act.

Investigators obtained details of the email sender from the google service provider and received two cell phone numbers linked to the sender’s email account. On Friday, police traced the tower location of the number and nabbed the accused from a society in Jogeshwari.
