Mumbai city news: Traffic officials have written to the public works department, asking officials to repair the Sion-Panvel highway soon

Traffic along a 4-km stretch from Center One mall to the toll naka had stalled on Thursday. As many as 20 police officers were deployed to manage the traffic.

A portion of the approach road leading to the Patripool bridge in Kalyan was washed away owing to incessant rainfall. The civic authority has barricaded the area and repairs are underway.

Numerous potholes surfaced on the Thane-Belapur Road under the Turbhe flyover.
