FB users, Twitteratti support Mumbai woman who killed son to save daughter-in-law

Fed up of his addiction and beatings, his wife wanted to leave the house, but her mother-in-law Anwari Idrisi, 45, convinced her to stay back

Support is pouring in on Facebook and Twitter for the Mumbai woman who allegedly killed her son to save daughter-in-law from his beatings at Mankhurd on Tuesday evening.

A man, who identifies himself as Kapil Cricket on Facebook, said, “She has done nothing wrong.”

On Tuesday night, Nadeem beat up his mother and wife. When he got tired, Anwari pushed him towards a steel ladder, tied her dupatta around his neck and strangled him.

After Nadeem died, Anwari sat next to his body, weeping the entire night.
