Hindustan Times had earlier reported that shows aired on Peace TV undergo post-production at the Dongri studio, which employs at least 50 video editors. After post-production the shows are burned onto DVDs and sent to Dubai and London to be broadcast. The channel operates in English, Urdu, Bangla and Chinese and plans to launch Arabic and French versions soon, a source said.

“We will find out how long the studio has been in operation and what all activities it undertakes,” said a Mumbai police officer, who did not wish to be named.

The special branch of the Mumbai police, which is conducting an enquiry into Naik’s activities, is also scanning a large number of his sermons, speeches and published material.
