Fire guts industrial unit

MUMBAI: An industrial unit at Wabutt Road in Goregaon East was gutted on Monday morning after a fire broke out on the first floor of the structure around 5.30 am.

MUMBAI: An industrial unit at Wabutt Road in Goregaon East was gutted on Monday morning after a fire broke out on the first floor of the structure around 5.30 am. According to fire brigade personnel , five fire engines, four water tankers and an ambulance were pressed into action to deal with fire that broke out at the two-storeyed Cama Industrial Estate. The structure also housed a garment factory. A fire brigade officer said that the situation was brought under control by 9.30 am. While the officer claimed that the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, no casualties were reported in mishap.
