2,000 students get tips on cracking CET

At least 2,000 students attended a workshop organised by the Hindustan Times to prepare management aspirants for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET).

The workshop was held in association with CPLC, an MBA training institute, at Bandra’s Rangsharda Auditorium on Saturday morning.

Faculty from CPLC conducted the workshop, which was designed to help students improve their speed and accuracy. The CET will be held on February 21.

Eager students streamed into the auditorium even after it was full. Many of them had to be accommodated in the banquet hall next door, where they took notes as the session was relayed on a large screen.

“The workshop included a live mock test given on camera by a student, which was very helpful in terms of time assessment,” said 25-year-old Abhishek Dwivedi, an engineering graduate who attended the session after reading about it in the Hindustan Times.

The workshop addressed many recurring problems like losing time on questions during the test, be it visual reasoning, syllogisms or advanced logic puzzles.

“I learnt many new techniques and strategies at the workshop,” said Pavan Raheja, a commerce graduate who participated in the workshop. “I feel much more confident about the exam now.”
