The Kharghar police, on Thursday, arrested a Nigerian national carrying 55 bundles with US dollar bills on the top.
While Oneka Hendri, 25, was arrested, his accomplice managed to flee.

Ashok Satpute, police inspector (crime), said: “Oneka had 55 bundles of US dollars in his bag. While there were actual currency notes on the top and at the bottom, the rest were just blank sheets of black paper.”
Oneka was coming to Mumbai from Chennai via Navi Mumbai.
“The traffic police team at the bus stop in Kharghar found their movements suspicious. When they went to inquire further, the other man fled,” said Satpute.
The police are investigating the source of the bundles.
