Sources said another 25 pilots joined the group of 100, who had threatened to quit.

The pilots, affiliated with the Indian Pilots’ Guild (IPG), have been protesting against the company’s move to evenly divide training slots for the soon to be inducted Boeing 787 aircraft between Indian Airline pilots and them. “We will resume the discussions on Wednesday,” said a senior pilot requesting anonymity.

Before the meeting, the Bombay high court will hear a writ petition filed by them against the management’s move. The IPG petition is seeking stay against the airline’s order.

An Air India spokesperson, said flight operations would be normal despite fears of disruptions.
