Bal Thackeray admitted to Lilavati hospital for check-up

Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray was today admitted to Lilavati hospital in suburban Bandra for a routine check-up, party sources said.

Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray was today admitted to Lilavati hospital in suburban Bandra for a routine check-up, party sources said.

"He has been admitted for a routine check-up. There is nothing to worry," they said.

The 86-year-old Sena patriarch would be kept in the hospital for 2-3 days, the sources said.

He was admitted to the hospital in May this year after he complained of discomfort and was discharged after two days.

His son Uddhav underwent angioplasty at Lilavati hospital last week.
