The municipal commissioner, Swadheen Kshatriya accepted that the balance sheet of the BMC has not been submitted to the state for the last three last years.

Kshatriya said, “The balance sheet for the year 2007-8 will be submitted by March and we will try to update the balance sheet for the remaining two years before July.” Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party corporators wrote to the mayor as they want to schedule a meeting on the issue.

Mayor Shraddha Jadhav said, “We will have a meeting in the first week of January.”
