A biker who suffered severe injuries after a Mercedes knocked him down in the early hours on Sunday claimed that singers Mika Singh and Rahul Vaidya, who rushed him to the hospital, threatened them against lodging a complaint.

According to the Versova police, at around 5 am on Sunday, Andheri-based businessman Sameer Hans was driving his Mercedes when he lost control and rammed the vehicle into biker Sunil Dattani (26) at Four Bungalows, Andheri (W).

After the mishap, Mika and Rahul who were driving in the opposite direction rushed to help Dattani and took him to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Dattani is said to be in stable condition.

“I saw the mishap and rushed to the spot to help the biker. I did not threaten the family against lodging a complaint against the driver of the Mercedes,” said Mika.

Sunil’s cousin Vikramjeet Singh said that Sunil had gone to pick up his fiancée from Malad. After dropping her in Andheri (W), he was returning home when the incident took place.
