According to the officials, on November 30, the unknown ticket checker stopped a passenger at Andheri railway station who reportedly was travelling without a valid ticket. “On seeing the ticket checker the passenger tried to run away and the ticket checker tried to chase him.

When he did manage to catch him his shirt tore off. The complainant also claimed the ticket checker abused him,” said senior inspector TN Shinde from Andheri GRP.
